Holy Cross Conference of St. Vincent de Paul is a lay Catholic ministry of the church dedicated to assisting the poor, needy and less fortunate of the community, working through dedicated volunteers. Our mission is inspired by the work and faith of St. Vincent de Paul (1581-1660) a humble French Priest, who dedicated his life to God in helping the poor, the homeless and the sick.
Our office is located at Holy Cross Parish and is open Monday and Tuesday mornings from 9 to 11 am for walk-ins, and our help line is 575-526-1726. Please leave a message and we will return a call to you as soon as possible. We offer one-time financial assistance (primarily for utility bills) following a scheduled home visit by two of our members. We also offer vouchers for clothing, household items and furniture, as needed, which can be redeemed at our Thrift Store.
Our Thrift Store is located at 580 South Valley. We are open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 3 pm, and the first Saturday of the month. We accept donations of gently used clothing, household goods, appliances and furniture. These can be dropped off at the Thrift Store or you can call the Thrift Store (575-527-4041) to arrange pick up of larger items.
