Holy Cross Conference of St. Vincent de Paul is a lay Catholic ministry of the church dedicated to assisting the poor, nee6-dy and less fortunate of the community, working through dedicated volunteers. Our mission is inspired by the work and faith of St. Vincent de Paul (1581-1660) a humble French Priest, who dedicated his life to God in helping the poor, the homeless and the sick.
To request financial assistance, call 575-649-0406 or inquire at the Holy Cross Church office. We offer one-time financial assistance (primarily for utility bills) following a scheduled home visit by two of our members. We also offer vouchers for clothing, household items and furniture, as needed, which can be redeemed at our Thrift Store.
Our Thrift Store is located at 125 E Idaho Ave. We are open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 3 pm, and the first Saturday of the month from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. We accept donations of gently used clothing, household goods, appliances and furniture. These can be dropped off at the Thrift Store or call 575-527-4041 to arrange pick up of larger items.
