St. Vincent de Paul:

stvincent

St. Vincent de Paul society is the arm of the church dedicated to assisting the poor, needy and less fortunate of the community, working through dedicated volunteers.  Our mission is inspired by the work and faith of St. Vincent de Paul (1581-1660) a humble French Priest, who dedicated his life to God in helping the poor, the homeless and the sick.

Our office is located at Holy Cross Parish and our help line is 526-1726.  Please leave a message and we will return a call to you as soon as possible.  We offer one time financial assistance following a scheduled home visit by two of our members.  We also offer clothing vouchers quarterly for those who qualify.

Our Thrift Store is located at 1250 W. Picacho Ave.  We are open Monday and Tuesday morning from 9-noon and the first Sat. morning of each month.   We accept donations of gently used clothing, household goods, appliances and furniture.  These can be dropped off at the Thrift Store on Monday or Tuesday morning or at the Holy Cross church office.  Please call the church office (523-0167) to arrange pick up of larger items.

Volunteer opportunities
We are always looking for volunteers to help in providing home visits to qualifying families or helping in our Thrift Store.
